TERMS OF THIS SALE: This puppy is sold on a Limited Registration unless otherwise stated in writing. (If you have any questions about what this means please ask me) _____________________________________
*The Buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hrs from the date that the Buyer takes possession of the puppy and at the Buyers expense. Buyer is asked to either provide a copy of the exam to the Seller or an email is acceptable with the results of your puppies exam within 3 days of the examination which I can print out for my records. Failure to do so will result in any and all guarantees being void. Please be sure the Veterinarian you take your puppy to is very knowledgeable on this breed because not all Vet's are.
*Seller agrees to guarantee puppy from any congenital health condition that harms the life of the puppy until he/she reaches one year of age. Guarantee excludes conditions that are common to this breed including but not limited to, hip or elbow dysplasia, mange of any kind, cherry eye, entropion, inverted eye lids, inverted tails, bladder stones, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, stenotic nares, hypoplastic trachea, testicle or vaginal problems will not be guaranteed unless the puppy dies from it and it is determined to be congenital.
*If a guaranteed health condition is found, Buyer agrees to obtain two written statements from two different licensed Veterinarians proving the health condition is in fact congenital. Seller also reserves the right to obtain the second opinion from my Veterinarian (that I will pay for) who is very knowledgeable in this breed to confirm such diagnosis. If the puppy dies from a congenital defect the Buyer will be required to provide a Veterinarian autopsy report which indicates the congenital defect that clearly caused the puppy's death. Seller agrees to exchange or in the case that the puppy dies under these circumstances, replace the puppy with a puppy from a different litter of equal value as soon as a litter becomes available. If a future puppy becomes available for replacement that costs more the difference will be the buyers responsibility.
*Buyer agrees to provide all routine Veterinary care including shots, routine worming and record of such care. Buyer understands this contract will be void if Buyer fails to provide routine Veterinary care, if puppy is sold, transferred or injured by accident or neglect. This guarantee does not cover any common puppy ailments such as worms, vitamin deficiencies, any viral bacterial diseases or disorders brought on by parasites.
*Seller will not be responsible for Veterinarian fees or costs. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means regular trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.
*If the puppy is sold as a potential show prospect there is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials your puppy exhibits at the time of sale.
*Seller is not responsible for temperament issues as they can be caused by lack of training, discipline or proper dog socialization which determines every dogs personality.
*Buyer understands and agrees that Bulldogs are inside dogs and require air conditioned living conditions to prevent overheating. The dog's outdoor area will be fenced in and secure or acceptable provisions will be made to assure the dog is safe any time he/she is outdoors. The death, injury or loss of said puppy due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke or accident will not entitle the Buyer to any compensation from the Seller.
*Puppies that are shipped are at risk for Coccidia and Kennel cough which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run it course. Full recovery is expected and kennel cough on its own is not life threatening. So if you plan to have you puppy shipped instead of picking it up you need to be aware of this.
*Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE if you change your mind. A lot of work goes into the placement of these puppies.
*Contract is not valid unless signed by both Buyer and Seller.
*All guarantees are null and void if Buyer fails to follow any of the above stated terms.
*This contract is valid only for the original Buyer and puppy, it is not transferable.
*Seller reserves the right to refuse to sell a puppy to a home the Seller deems not suitable for whatever reason.
*Seller will help in the future placement of the puppy if Buyer is unable to keep him/her for any reason.
*My promise to you that I will be available to you throughout your puppy's lifetime. I want to stay in contact with you. It's very important to me to know how your puppy grows and matures so I ask that you promise to stay in touch with me and send me pictures periodically.
Please be sure any questions you have regarding this contract have been fully answered by the Seller before you sign.
Upon signing below, both Buyer and Seller agree to all terms and conditions stated within this contract. I, the Buyer have read this contract, understand fully the contents thereof and acknowledge receipt of it. We are not relying on verbal statements not contained herein. Buyer understands and agrees that any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract must be brought in Siskiyou County, California.
